Clean nutrition is among the most crowded categories in retail. Nearly every product claims to be natural, transparent and better for you, and at Whole Foods, where shoppers scrutinize every label, those claims have become table stakes rather than differentiators.
Fitppl faced the defining tension of any relaunch: modernize decisively without alienating an established customer base. Leadership also needed the brand transformation to advance a parallel objective, presenting investors with a business model and growth narrative capable of withstanding rigorous diligence.

WMG® began with a disciplined insight phase. Through market research and a dedicated audience study, we mapped the competitive landscape, defined the Fitppl consumer and identified the white space where the brand could compete on conviction rather than claims.
Those findings shaped a clear positioning platform, distilled into a single line: Clean Nutrition. No Compromises. From there, we rebuilt the identity around a confident, athletic wordmark and set the creative direction for a system designed to extend across retail, out of home, digital and apparel.
In parallel, our strategy team partnered with leadership on the commercial foundation, refining the business model, developing the pro forma and building the investor data room, so the story told to shoppers and the story told to investors were one and the same.

Fitppl returned to market as a brand equal to its product: a distinctive identity, a positioning platform with a clear point of view, and a creative system designed to scale from the Whole Foods shelf to the city street.
Equally important, the company entered investor conversations with a refined business model, a rigorous financial plan and a data room prepared for diligence. Brand and business were rebuilt in concert, by one integrated team, from a shared foundation of insight. That alignment is what turns a relaunch into a true second act.
